PEMBAGIAN ANION DAN KATION

Catatan kali ini juga saya tulis untuk melengkapi tugas. Tapi semoga saja catatan saya ini dapat berguna bagi anda sekalian yang memerlukannya.

Ilmuan yang pertama menemukan ion adalah fisikawan asal Jerman yaitu Julius Elster dan Hans Friedrich Geitel pada tahun 1899. Ion adalah atom yang bermuatan positif dan negatif. Atom tersusun dari neutron yang muatannya netral,proton yang bermuatan positif dan elektron yang bermuatan negatif.

Ion memiliki dua muatan yaitu ion yag bermuatan positif atau sering disebut juga sebagai kation dan yang bermuatan negatif yang sering disebut sebagai anion. Anion dan kation dapat terurai bila berada dalam campuran air.

Contoh yang mudah adalah pada saat NaCl dilarutkan didalam air maka akan terurai menjadi ion Na+ dan Cl-.

Sekarang mari kita lihat ion apa saja yang masuk ke dalam anion dan kation.

Contoh anion adalah Cl- , SO4 2- , CN- , S2- , CrO4- , I- , Br- , SO3- , NO3- , OH- , S2-

Contoh kation adalah H+ , Fe2+ , Fe3+ , Na+ , Pb+ , Ca+ , Ag+ , Ba2+ , Mg2+ , Cu2+ , K+
